is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully‑equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We are seeking
035/.045 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd Shift MIG Welders (Mon-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:00am)
who are dedicated, detail‑oriented and who want stable, consistent hours where
OT is always available but not mandatory . We have no shortage of work at
Global Power Components!
Responsibilities: (what you will be doing)
Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions. The sheet metal thickness will range from 10 gauge up to inch.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools
Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
Requirements: (what it takes to be successful)
Must be able to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
Must be able to read blueprints - this is extremely important
GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred
Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
Must be highly motivated
Able to communicate and work well with others
Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed
Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
