Job Overview As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will maintain and troubleshoot mission‑critical data center equipment, ensuring 99.999% uptime and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily building rounds to monitor and record electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack‑level events within SLA.
Perform rack installs, decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root‑cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Technical writing to support change management.
Manage daily work requests, execute projects from conception to completion.
Provide on‑site support to contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Adapt to shift schedules up to 12 hours and on‑call rotations; may support multiple sites.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift/move up to 39 lbs; participate in group lifts of 40+ lbs.
Maintain balance while working on ladders; perform construction tasks (walking, kneeling, climbing, twisting, bending).
Work in environments requiring ear protection; perform work above shoulders.
Essential Requirements
Ability to travel or commute between data center sites as needed.
Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training or until assigned facility is operational.
Travel frequency varies based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
1+ year of electrical or mechanical experience.
1+ year of Microsoft Office experience.
Flexible schedule availability (days, nights, weekends).
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of data center engineering experience.
Technical (Military/Trade School) training.
Associate or higher education in a related field.

Compensation Base pay ranges from $59,600 to $133,200 per year depending on geographic market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and benefits.
