Position Summary This Process Technician will be responsible for performing functions associated with manufacturing and/or system operations, including working with engineers and manufacturing in set‑up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and assists in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities
Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follows SOP to ensure equipment/process/systems are running effectively.
Troubleshooting: conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
Monitor Equipment/Process: monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
Teamwork and Communication: works well in a team environment and effectively communicates throughout the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
Associates degree or other technical certification. Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent) or 4 years equivalent technical military service.
Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes.
Experience in continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Familiar with TPM concepts.
Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.
Ability to work off‑hours if necessary.
Electro‑mechanical aptitude; basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
Salary:
$18.60/hour - $60.40/hour (based on duties, location, education, skills, and experience). Total compensation may include performance bonuses.
