Photo Process Technician - Night Samsung Semiconductor is looking for a Onsite Photo Process Technician - Night to join our advanced semiconductor manufacturing team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor.

Position Summary In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set‑up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, and performing rework and quality testing related to the production of memory chips and logic. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes, and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. You must comply with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

Change point management / System maintenance: Following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment, processes and systems are running effectively.

Troubleshooting: Conducting failure analysis and following scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.

Monitor equipment and process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looking for ways to improve processes.

Teamwork and communication: Working in a team environment and effectively communicating throughout the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

Associate’s degree or other technical certification. Experienced Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent) or 4 years equivalent technical military service.

Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.

Familiar with TPM concepts.

Focused on continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Compensation The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour and $60.40/hour. Total compensation will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs.
