Responsibilities

Operates multiple machines using written work instructions, visual management, and computer interface.

Conducts quality inspections using specific written and visual guidelines.

Monitors operations of machine to detect malfunctions.

Performs minor adjustments to the machines to correct improper functions.

Performs preventive maintenance on machines.

Accurately completes all logs, data input and written, to include hourly checks and downtime.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Computer Literate

1‑3 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Must be available for 12 hour shifts both day and night shifts

Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Able to perform basic math functions.

Able to work required overtime and holidays

Must wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and hair/beard covering

Physical Requirements

Able to stand/walk on concrete floor constantly.

Able to climb stairs/ladders up to 15 feet high.

Able to reach at and above shoulder level.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $5,000 to $52,500; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $5,000 to $100,000 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
