Mold Press Operator

is expanding our team in Pocomoke City, MD and has an immediate opening for a Mold Press Operator. In this role, the right candidate will operate and tend to a mold press machine to produce a variety of magnetic stir bars. This is a Monday – Friday position with hours 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Visually inspect material prior to use in production
Monitor all moving actuators during press operation to ensure proper sequence
Monitor any alarm alerts on screen
Visually inspect quality of molded bars – must be clean and properly pressed
Fill material hopper as needed
Load raw bars into vibrator bowl feeder and monitor continuous flow
Remove baked spin bar from tray at end of conveyor, count bars and document on job order
Move molded components to stock location
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
6‑12 months manufacturing experience and use of measuring tools preferred
Solid work history and attendance record required
Basic math skills and computer literacy preferred
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) All employees must work safely and report any health, safety or environmental concern to their manager or supervisor promptly.
Comply with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
Do not remove or alter safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lock‑out/tag‑out methods
Report any unsafe conditions or acts
Report defects in equipment or protective devices
Use required protective equipment for assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
Report accidents/incidents to supervisor
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Avoid prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough conduct
