Mold Press Operator

– Pocomoke City, MD. Immediate opening for a Mold Press Operator operating and tending a mold press machine to produce magnetic stir bars. Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
Visually inspect material prior to production.
Monitor all moving actuators during press operation to ensure proper sequence.
Respond to alarm alerts on screen.
Visually inspect quality of molded bars – ensure bars are clean and properly pressed.
Fill material hopper as needed.
Load raw bars into vibrator bowl feeder and monitor flow.
Remove baked spin bar from tray at end of conveyor, count and document on job order.
Move molded components to stock location.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred.
6‑12 months manufacturing experience and ability to use measuring tools preferred.
Solid work history and attendance record.
Basic math skills and computer literacy preferred.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) All employees must work safely and report health, safety, or environmental concerns to their manager or supervisor promptly.
Work in compliance with divisional health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout‑tagout methods.
Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.
Report defect in any equipment or protective device.
Use required protective equipment for assigned tasks.
Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training.
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor.
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents.
Refrain from engaging in pranks, contests, feats of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct.
