Role Overview Assist in the production, installation, operation, testing, and process operations of naval ships and defense technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Supervise, assign, coordinate, and evaluate semi‑skilled and skilled trades personnel according to skill, experience, and job knowledge.
Train employees to improve the quality and quantity of work performed.
Recommend training to enhance skill and productivity of employees and assist in developing training procedures.
Translate broad strategies into practical action plans and ensure employees are trained to execute them.
Ensure compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings, procedures, and related documentation.
Monitor job and budget performance for all shifts.
Required Qualifications
BS/Apprentice with at least 4 years of production supervisory experience, OR
Non‑BS/Non‑Apprentice with at least 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications or experience relevant to shipbuilding.
