Production Assembler – Afternoons 12 – 8:30 pm
A non‑exempt Production Assembler at Parker Hannifin will perform a variety of complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations with minimal guidance, operating hand tools and machines while following company policies and safety procedures. The role is on the afternoon shift, Monday‑to‑Friday 12:00–8:30 pm.
Job Core Responsibilities
Perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with instructions and procedures.
Operate machines and use hand tools.
Conduct inspections of own and/or associates’ work to ensure correctness per company and customer drawings.
Apply process specifications governing production within an assigned cell.
Record production time and quantity data.
Assist with training/development tasks in other production cells/locations.
Demonstrate all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in related field.
1–3 years of experience.
Skills:
Ability to perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations.
Problem‑solving in atypical or infrequent situations.
Read and interpret company documents such as safety rules, instructions, policies and procedures.
Good manual dexterity for working with small parts.
Effective oral and written communication.
Typical Mental and Physical Demands
Lift up to 50 lb regularly.
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods.
Bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach frequently.
Hear or talk effectively with delivery personnel and internal customers.
Use hands and fingers for detailed work over extended periods.
Perform rapid repetitive tasks with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Wear required PPE throughout shift.
