Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Attention to detail and outstanding organizational ability to prioritize and complete high volume work and carry a large caseload; Strong knowledge of motions, electronic discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.; Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and document management software; Responsibilities
Coordinate, manage and organize all case files during all phases of the litigation process, and assist in trial preparation; Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and other litigation-based documentation; Prepare notices of depositions and deposition exhibits; Communicate with experts and clients; Create and maintain case chronologies; Review, organize and manage large document productions for responsiveness, applying necessary redactions, and finalizing for production; Draft and finalize real estate and transactional documentation at direction of attorney; E-filing experience in all courts; Manage case deadlines, calendar hearings and meetings; Categorize, interpret, and summarize information and documents provided by clients, opposing counsel, and third parties; Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience
A bachelor's degree, paralegal certification and five or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal is preferred; Prefer at least five years experience in the following areas: Business & Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Foreclosure and Bankruptcy.
