LHH is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal for an exciting opportunity supporting complex litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial litigation, mass torts, and/or drug and medical device litigation. Candidates must have at least 6 years of directly relevant experience and must reside in the state of Tennessee.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive paralegal support in commercial litigation and mass tort matters
Assist with all phases of drug and medical device litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
Draft, review, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Coordinate document production, e-discovery, and case management databases
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Prepare deposition and trial materials, including exhibits and witness binders
Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and filings to ensure compliance with court rules
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation, mass torts, and/or drug & medical device litigation (required)
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and deadlines
Experience managing large-volume, complex cases
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
Proficiency with legal research tools and e-discovery platforms
Must currently live in Tennessee
and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience supporting cases in Tennessee state and federal courts
Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department handling complex litigation
