Job Description We are a boutique real estate law firm specializing in commercial and residential transactions, representing buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, investors, and tenants. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Legal Assistant
to support transactional work and daily operations. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and the professionalism required to manage multiple files and interact with clients and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
Draft agreements and assist with document preparation under attorney supervision
Review contracts and leases with guidance from the supervising attorney
Prepare spreadsheets for bank closings and maintain accurate transactional data
Coordinate communication among parties involved in real estate transactions
Follow up with attorneys, clients, lenders, and brokers to schedule and prepare closings
Gather, organize, and enter information into databases and calendars
Support daily administrative and operational needs as assigned
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
High level of written and email communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple files simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
Experience within the New York real estate industry is a strong plus
