We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Baltimore Maryland. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for tearing down vehicles, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and creating instructional videos to empower car owners. Your duties will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting vehicle inspections, and working with other technicians to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of repairs.
Responsibilities
Tear down vehicles and document the process to create instructional videos for car owners
Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes etc.
Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately identify any issues or potential problems
Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues
Work collaboratively with other mechanics and technicians to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification from a reputable automotive technical school or equivalent experience
At least 1 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
