Why our Volunteer Drivers are so Important:
Drive a Red Cross vehicle to support our life-saving Home Fire Campaign and Disaster Response teams, responding to our communities in need. As a volunteer driver, in the boroughs of NYC, you become a hero on wheels, responding to the community needs before, during, and after home fires. Every trip you make supports the people of NYC.
REQUIREMENTS
Driver's License Needed
Must be at least 18
Orientation or Training
Min 6 months
A valid state Driver's License
Defensive Driving Class - will be provided during onboarding
Agree to a Driver's License Check
Must be comfortable driving in all boroughs of NYC
Time Commitment 6 mo.-1 yr
Population Served Families, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, Low-income communities
Requirements Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+ , Minimum Age:18+
