Semiconductor Engineering Technician Location: Gloucester, MA | Employment Type: Contract To Hire (18 months) | Reference: BH-391462

Pay: $30–$35 per hour, 1st and 4th shift available.

What You Will Be Doing

Assist engineers and scientists in creating, modifying, and testing semiconductor products and processes.

Troubleshoot high vacuum, high‑vacuum electrical, and mechanical systems.

Modify, rebuild, and calibrate semiconductor capital equipment, including plasma etch platforms and Implanters.

Measure particulates, perform metals testing, and demonstrate new capabilities.

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on equipment per engineering and manufacturing documentation.

Work autonomously within established procedures and practices while communicating effectively with team members.

Observe all safety standards, maintain a clean and healthy work environment, and attend required health and safety training.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree preferred; minimum high school diploma.

4–7 years of technician training/experience in a high‑technology area.

2–3 years of semiconductor experience; VCS training on other semiconductor tools a plus.

Understanding of electrical circuitry required.

Some travel may be required; knowledge of semiconductor equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Semiconductor experience.

Strong electrical background.
