full-time Batting Insulation Installer

This position earns a competitive incentive‑based wage of
$15 - $25 per hour

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BATTING INSULATION INSTALLER As a Batting Insulation Installer, you create a barrier of comfort between living space and the outside environment. Each day, you receive work orders, load necessary equipment, and travel to the job site. To ensure an efficient day, you prepare by setting up equipment and clearing the site of any obstructions. Safety is your top priority and you are committed to protecting yourself and everyone around you.
You perform air infiltration detailing, then hand‑install insulation following the envelope theory. To ensure high‑quality work, you install caulk, foam, stops, chutes, and blockers where needed. To finish, you clean the job site and return all equipment to the truck in an organized manner. Throughout your day, you communicate with your team members and other tradesmen, feeling great about keeping people warm in homes and buildings.
Qualifications
Ability to pass a pulmonary and respiratory physical
Proficiency speaking, reading, and writing in English
High school diploma or equivalent (1 year related experience preferred but not required)
Knowledge of construction and insulation blowing machines a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional and respectful demeanor
Good problem‑solving skills
Work Schedule This full‑time position typically works a range of 40–55 hours per week.
