Mark-Taylor is hiring Service Technicians at multiple locations throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.

As a Service Technician, you will work at one of our beautiful communities and represent Mark-Taylor through the delivery of exceptional customer service while contributing to the upkeep of the physical asset and community grounds.

Responsibilities

Assist in the completion of make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.

Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.

Perform daily pool care, ensure the pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.

Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.

Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Services of the hazard.

Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Services, and service team members and be readily available to go to the property if needed while in uniform/badge.

Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.

Knowledge of building systems.

Service orientation.

Basic computer skills.

Experience as apartment turn technician, make-ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.

A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

The starting hourly pay range for Service Technician is $22.00, commensurate with experience and dependent on the specific community's level of complexity. Our Service Technicians typically work a schedule that includes one or more weekend days. Our Service Team members participate in a rotating on-call schedule with additional shift differential pay.
