Location: Morrisville, NC

Pay range:

Shape complex parts. Orchestrate automation. Own the process. Step into a hands‑on role where you’ll run multi‑axis mill‑turn equipment, tune robot routines, and keep production flowing with precision.

Day in your workcell:

Your day starts at the bench: you review setup sheets and engineering drawings, confirm dimensions and tolerances, and stage hardware. You align and secure fixturing and accessories to match job requirements, then load CNC programs and adjust control data for a reliable first article. With automation in play, you choose the correct robot program, verify pickup points, and define the inspection sequence to keep quality in the loop.

On trial runs, you validate machine settings and programmed control data for new or updated jobs. In‑process, you inspect parts with precision gauges and inspection sheets, making fine adjustments to optimize cycle times and output—without compromising spec. Between loads, you keep tools, gauges, and accessories organized in drawers, shelves, and the work area, and you stage raw material for upcoming orders to stay ahead of schedule.

Throughout the shift, you communicate with your supervisor or programmer about work‑sequence tweaks or any nonconforming dimensions. You wrap by cleaning the cell, handling routine machine maintenance, and flagging repair needs before they become downtime.
