Base pay range $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Deerfield Beach, FL. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality aerospace/aircraft components that meet our specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using various measuring tools.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience setting up and operating multi-axis, CNC lathes.
Experience with CNC lathes, such as Doosan, DMG Mori, and Okuma.
Experience with holding very tight tolerances, i.e. +/- .0005".
Setting up OD, ID, and live milling tools.
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive attitude.
