Compensation Includes

This position is responsible for producing product using high-speed paper converting equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Assist and function as back-up to Machine Operator to produce quality product at target machine speeds using safe work practices
Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); prepare all machine components for production
Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork
Follow designated procedures to requisition or return components & materials, inspect components & materials, install components & materials, complete pre & post production activities
Assist with set-up and/or change over activities with in allotted time
Participate in Preventative Maintenance Activities as assigned
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures
Actively engage in safety programs
Effectively communicate with team members across shifts
Assist and train other team members as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of six months of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process
High School Diploma or GED is required
Eligible to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace
Willingness to work overtime as needed
