Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift - Full Time to join our team.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.
The core hours are: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

What You’ll Do The primary function of the Assembler is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
In This Function You Will
Work from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
Determine necessary parts and material, and prepare requisition to obtain parts and material from stock.
Prepare wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals.
Route out, assemble, wire, adjust, fit and modify parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly.
May require lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement.
Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards, and make necessary adjustments and alignment when required.
Execute engineering and customer changes and make repairs as required.
Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach.
Maintain records as required.
Observe all safety and hygiene rules and regulations.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Other assignments as required.
Operate power tools, including battery powered and compressed air.
Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications

Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead.
Proven history of safe work habits.
Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends.
