located in Raleigh, NC. This position offers a 40‑hour paid workweek from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday. Hourly rate: $18.50. Full‑time employment includes benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401k match plan and vacation.
What You’ll Do The Assembler I will build sub‑assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS).
In This Function You Will
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Build sub‑assemblies and assemblies using SOPs.
Conduct visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
Adhere to environmental, health, & safety rules and regulations.
Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties using the principles of 5S+.
Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Applicants must be eligible for employment in the U.S.; Eaton does not sponsor immigration for this position.
Relocation assistance is not available; only candidates within a 50‑mile radius (active duty military exempt) will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience following SOPs.
Experience in product assembly, electrical assembly, maintenance, and/or repair.
Basic soldering experience.
Basic computer skills (email, internet navigation, data entry).
Position Criteria
Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing facility.
Ability to read and interpret SOPs.
Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime and flex to different areas or local plants.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to distinguish colored wiring.
Ability to stand for extended periods; repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting are inherent.
