Machine Operator I – Weekend Day Shift
Shift Hours:
5:00am-5:00pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
Pay Rate:
$25.35/hour + $3.00/hour Shift Premium = $28.35/hour.
Job Summary The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator I will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean‑up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities
Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the products and how they impact the business.
Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of the job as changes require.
Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues to leadership.
Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.
Cross‑train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
Requirements
High school Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
Detail oriented and organized.
Work in a team environment in a professional manner.
Effectively communicate.
Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.
