TICO (Terminal Investment Corporation)
TICO is hiring Mechanics, All Skill Levels /All Shifts at our site in Jacksonville, FL. This position is typically an 8‑hour shift, with occasional overtime. Great pay, benefits, sign‑on bonus and lots of room for growth! 95% of our fleet are trucks we build at our plant in Ridgeland S.C. They all have the same power package and driveline. They are mirror images of each other, so a mechanic does not have to learn to become proficient and we can train the right candidate!
Responsibilities
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, steering, cooling, DEF, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
Utilizes computer software diagnostic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs.
Performs maintenance‑related work as required.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Effectively communicates needed repairs or tasks.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
Heavy truck repair.
Heavy, medium duty or farm equipment repair.
Forklift or construction equipment repair.
Automotive maintenance and repair.
Completion of a diesel or automotive tech program.
Good attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic are preferred qualities.
Must maintain your own tool set (company provided tool program available).
