Laser/Brake Press Operator (day consists of 25% Laser and 75 % Brake Press) role includes forming sheet metal by programming, and setting up and operating a brake press. This role also includes cutting sheet metal by setting up and operating a CNC Laser, punching metal on a turret press, deburring and performing other operations in a metal fabrication environment.
Job Requirements
Ability to program, safely set-up and operate CNC and conventional brake presses (MUST) Ability to operate drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, PEM machine and strippit (PLUS) Perform various inspection functions utilizing tape measure, calipers, and protractor (MUST) Ability to safely set-up, make minor edits to programs and operate CNC Laser and deburr (MUST) Operate time saver (MUST) Set-up and run turret press (MUST) Read and understand prints, finish specifications, bills of material, routers and work instructions (MUST)
