Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of
Carpenter
for our project located in Reno, NV. Responsibilities
Constructing and maintaining safety handrails, hole protection, steps, gang ladders, and temporary weather enclosures and protection. Performing tasks such as sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling, and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Experience working with concrete would be great. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of construction experience. Ability to read basic drawings and trained on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform). Strong teamwork, independent work on assignments, manage multiple projects, flexible, and meet tight deadlines. High school diploma or GED (plus). Strong time management skills. Agile/mobile, alert, ability to stand/walk for long periods, manipulate objects, climb ladders and scaffolds, work at uneven surfaces/heights. Ability to lift/carry materials 50-100 lbs (75% of the time). Must be able to see/have vision correction and hear well. Must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, outside, overtime and weekend hours; punctuality and promptness required daily. Benefits
