KCI is currently accepting applications for Union Carpenters experienced in working with concrete and on highway/bridge projects. KCI requires a drug screen and physical that tests the abilities as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate punctuality by consistently arriving on time each day
Construct formwork for placement of concrete.
Set anchor bolt templates.
Build temporary handrails and associated safety items.
Sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
Member of the Carpenters Union
Valid driver's license
Journeyman level skills
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Must be a team player.

Physical Requirements for Fit for Duty
Lift 80 pounds floor to waist 3x
Lift 60 pounds waist to shoulder 3x
Overhead lift 60 pounds 3x
Bilateral carry 80 pounds 50 ft 2x
Gripping at waist level for 90 seconds with 30 pounds
Push and pull a 97 pound sled 20 ft
Lift an 80 pound box from the floor and carry it 50 ft
Lift plywood from the floor and down 2 steps 5x
Ascend and descend 60 rungs on a vertical ladder
Squat, bend, kneel, and stoop
