Description As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for delivering work within a specific area in accordance with industry standards.

Analyzing and interpreting building plans.

Interpreting work orders and determining required materials.

Measuring distance from reference points.

Calculating angles and determining vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.

Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.

Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.

Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.

Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.

Preparing surfaces by cutting and/or grinding problem areas of walls and floors.

Cleans and preps problem areas prior to the application of material.

Cuts out, repairs, preps, packs and caulks joints of walls and floors.

Sprays, brushes, rolls or applies material to walls and floors as specified.

May work below grade by preparing and applying waterproofing materials to foundation walls and footings.

Applications include spraying, rolling, brushing, nailing panels, or gluing sheet goods.

May be required to rig mobile and stationary scaffolding in accordance with corporate guidelines.

Requirements

Must be able to use logical step‑by‑step procedures and work with various materials.

Must work within precise limits or standards of accuracy, judging straight lines, spaces, and proportions.

Must have sufficient reading, writing, and math skills to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instructions.

The ability to read drawings is necessary.

Identify existing and predictable hazards in work surroundings, including unsafe or dangerous conditions.

Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, lifting and carrying materials weighing 50 pounds or more, and climbing ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools.

Ability to work at heights, extreme temperatures, and wear company safety equipment is essential.

Practical construction experience preferred.

Must have own hand tools of the trade.

May be required to work weekends, nights, out of town, and at heights.

Must have reliable transportation.

Benefits Western offers a competitive wage and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance (over 80% paid by the company), $10,000 life insurance and $10,000 accidental death and dismemberment, a generous 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Minimum 30 hours per week required for eligibility after 90 days.

Compensation is determined by experience, skills, internal equity, and market benchmarks. In addition to base pay, the role may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, maternity leave, and other benefits designed to support employees and their families.

Pay Range (US) $20—$24 USD

(1 week ago), $70,000.00–$90,000.00

(4 weeks ago). Olive Branch, MS – $18.00–$23.00 (3 weeks ago).
