Block Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Block Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively. Their duties include preparing machinery for daily use and inspecting machinery for safety issues.
Key Responsibilities
Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines
Maintaining an understanding of operating procedures for their machines
Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
Qualifications
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to [specific weight] pounds
Strong work ethic and team player attitude
Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred but not required
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform a wide range of physical activities
Basic mechanical skills are a plus
Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear provided personal protective equipment at all times
Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings
