Position Overview
Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Machinist for all shifts. This is a direct‑hire position based at our Spokane, Washington plant. The Machinist will assemble and inspect products to ensure the highest quality for our customers and work under the supervision of an ISC Production Supervisor.
Shift Hours
Monday‑Thursday 4:30 pm – 3:00 am.
Salary Range
$25.50 per hour plus a shift differential of $1.50 – $7.00 depending on the shift. Base salary will vary based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications.
Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals.
Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications – Must Have
Ability to collaborate with others and work independently.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to troubleshoot where necessary.
Additional Qualifications – We Value
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to analyze information and concepts.
Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity.
Creative thinking and idea generation.
Ability to communicate information clearly.
