JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Journeyman Electricians. In this role, you will support the electrician in various aspects of electrical maintenance, repair, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Execute tasks related to electrical maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
Prepare and assemble necessary apparatus for specific tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, removing scrap wire, boxes, and other discard materials.
Assist with cleaning protective equipment, including hot sticks and rubber goods.
Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
Assist in loading materials onto trucks or trailers as needed.
Strip and terminate cables, understanding required materials and processes.
Perform prolonged standing, sitting, crouching, or stooping as required.
Push, pull, and position tools, equipment, and structural material weighing over 100 pounds.
Perform electrical testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair on equipment and systems.
Accurately read and record meter data.
Maintain electrical records and schedules.
Wire 120 V, 240 V, 480 V, and low‑voltage systems.
Read electrical CAD drawings and have knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/control panel wiring.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with contractors to provide high‑level customer service.
Stay updated on current NEC codes and ensure adherence during all electrical work.
Perform other duties assigned by the electrician or supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
NM Journeyman License.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
