Overview
Coastal Precast System is seeking a skilled and reliable
Rebar Bender
to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and shaping rebar and other reinforcing materials according to project specifications. This role is essential to ensuring the strength and structural integrity of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine rebar requirements
Cut and bend rebar to required shapes using hand tools, cutting machines, and bending machines
Measure, mark, and layout rebar patterns
Ensure rebar is fabricated accurately and safely according to project standards
Load, unload, and organize rebar for easy access and minimal waste
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisor
Qualifications
Preferred experience in rebar bending, fabrication, or steel fixing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bar bending schedules
Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and repetitive tasks
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
Strong understanding of construction site safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
