Position Summary The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems associated with press equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise in a manufacturing environment and the ability to respond quickly to equipment downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on press equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and servo presses) Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems related to press operation Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime Inspect, adjust, and maintain press components including clutches, brakes, cylinders, valves, pumps, and lubrication systems Support press setups, die changes, and equipment startups as needed Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on motors, sensors, and control components Comply with all safety policies including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and EHS requirements Collaborate with production, engineering, and tooling teams to improve equipment reliability Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED 3–7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong focus on press equipment Solid mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills Experience working with high-tonnage stamping or fineblanking presses Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related field Experience with servo presses or hydraulic press systems Familiarity with press lubrication systems, clutch/brake systems, and safety devices Basic electrical or controls troubleshooting experience Welding or fabrication skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work safely around press equipment and industrial machinery What we offer.
