Overview As a Die Setter, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth production runs by preparing, installing, and removing molds/dies on injection molding machines.
Responsibilities
Set up, install, and remove molds/dies on injection molding machines
Troubleshoot machines, robots, and material feed systems (experience with Engel, Krauss-Maffei, Husky machines, Kuka robots, and Piovan systems is a plus)
Monitor machine performance to prevent downtime and maintain quality standards
Collaborate with Process Technicians, Maintenance, and Quality teams
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely to move molds and materials
Maintain accurate records of setups and maintenance
Requirements
HS diploma or GED required, technical certifications preferred
2+ years as a Die Setter or similar role in an injection molding manufacturing environment
Understanding of injection molding processes
Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Basic computer skills and strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work in varying temperatures
Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
