Compensation and Benefits
Pay: Hourly $35 per hour based on experience, with additional monthly performance incentive.
Schedule: Flexible 40‑hour work week (weekend premiums apply).

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Vocational or professional diploma (preferred).
Three (3) years or more of classroom training and work experience.
Non‑Commercial Driver License (CLASS E).
Valid CDL CLASS A preferred.
State driver’s license as required.
Ability to understand and adhere to company policies; create and maintain professional relationships; work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate customer service skills and strong verbal/written communication.
Capable of multitasking, highly organized, excellent time‑management.
Within 90 days: preventive maintenance (PM230 & PM298); brakes‑air (BA220 & BA298); brake mechanics/inspectors FMCS 396.25; hydraulic brake (BH220 & BH298); tire & wheel (TW220); HD electrical (DR208).
Within 180 days: CF609 & A/C trained (AC220 & AC298); SBT III trained (SBT220); SBT Phase 2.
OEM online engine courses (minimum 2).
Possesses flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Will be required to pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance for non‑contractual customers; may assist higher‑grade specialists with complex diagnostics.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance: tune‑ups, oil changes, tire changes, fuel filter changes, fluid checks, alignments, basic suspension replacement, and light/mirror replacements.
Diagnose, repair or replace engine parts including alternators, starters, radiators, injectors, transmissions, and other fuel components.
Perform basic diagnostics and hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Operate mobile maintenance vehicle; travel to customer yards within assigned region.
Have general knowledge of Torque products and services.
Represent Torque/Ryder to establish relationships with customers.
Utilize Salesforce and electronic documentation; ensure proper documentation of work orders, repair authorizations, and notes.
Perform environmental duties such as site inspections, clean‑ups/disposals, and handling vehicle chemicals with guidance.
Work in compliance with all federal/regional and corporate guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
