Key Responsibilities
Installs caulking at penetrations and joints using a bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of buckets, using ‘sausage’ packs, or standard tubes.
Inspects work to ensure installation meets UL design specifications.
Reads blueprints and life‑safety drawings.
Accesses penetrations and joints, which may require use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, scaffolds, and ladders.
Performs physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, talking, and hearing.
Lifts and/or moves up to 15 pounds regularly and frequently.
Required or Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Past firestop experience preferred.
Dependable transportation, ability to travel out of town for both overnight and one‑day trips.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
