Pay Range: $30.00 /hr. - $33.00 /hr.
Overview As the HVAC and Refrigeration Technician, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Greensburg, IN, you’ll prioritize repairs and complete required PM’s on facility equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance tasking on all HVACR equipment.
Start systems, observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms.
Screw, bolt, rivet, weld, and braze parts to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
Discuss system malfunctions with users to isolate problems. Install wiring to connect components to electric power source.
Lubricate fans, motors, and control units. Replace defective/worn parts.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
Must be able to complete PM and work order activity in CMMS.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HVAC and Refrigeration maintenance and repair in a facility/plant environment.
Must have a Universal EPA/Refrigerant License.
Perform Heating, Cooling, Exhaust Fan PMs.
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain all HVAC equipment.
Self-starter, prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.
Ability to read & understand system blueprints, specifications, performance data.
Ability to use electrical meter, megger, amp clamps. 480V and below systems.
Ability to cut, thread, weld, braze mechanical piping.
Ability to learn all FAC equipment.
Respond to equipment downtime.
Responsible for 5S & COP all areas including desk, worksite, tools, FAC spaces.
Driver’s license.
Experience with HVACR, Air Compressors, Pump and Plumbing Maintenance, Basic Electrical and Mechanical Skills.
