Step up to Cadillac of Norwood ‑ We need an experienced Automotive Service Technician to assist in our fast growing Service department immediately!

Responsibilities
Receive repair orders from dispatcher and properly diagnose malfunctions
Communicate efficiently and professionally with customers and service advisors
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Document and perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
Maintain dealership and GM factory standards
Save and tag all removed parts under warranty or if requested by the customer
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
Notify advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
Road‑test vehicles as needed to complete and insure repair is working properly
Attend factory‑sponsored training as needed and keep current on all factory technical bulletins
Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and contents safe/secure at all times
Keep work area and shop neat, clean at all times
Be able to account for all dealership‑owned tools at all times
Be respectful and professional with customers and co‑workers at all times
Understand and follow all federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Qualifications
Passion for the Automotive Industry and Customer satisfaction
General Motors certifications and A.S.E certification is a plus, but not required. We will assist and sponsor the right persons through proper training paths
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Positive and Professional Attitude
High Integrity and Strong Work Ethic
Good Communication Skills (Written and Oral)
Good Judgment and Time Management Skills
