Litigation Paralegal – Forest Hills, NY
Location: Forest Hills, NY. Base Pay Range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year.
This plaintiff-focused law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to manage personal injury cases and support attorneys throughout the full case cycle. The role is fully on-site, requiring reliable daily commute to the Forest Hills office. Strong organizational skills, independence, and familiarity with modern legal software tools are essential.
Responsibilities
Manage PI cases from intake to resolution
Draft medical summaries, discovery responses, pleadings, and settlement documents
Update and track case progress in Filevine (Lead Docket a plus)
Coordinate with clients, medical offices, and insurance contacts
Schedule EBTs, IMEs, mediations, and court events
Prepare attorneys for depositions and trial-related needs
Identify workflow issues and help keep cases on schedule
Qualifications
3+ years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience (NY preferred)
Solid understanding of litigation steps and deadlines
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to reliably commute to the firm’s Forest Hills office five days per week (on-site role)
