Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by conducting research, preparing documents, and managing case files, particularly in the areas of Construction Law and Business Law.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case preparation and research in Construction Law and Business Law.
Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
Conduct thorough legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Manage case files and ensure all documents are organized and filed correctly.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to gather information and provide updates.
Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and meetings.
Maintain knowledge of current laws and regulations related to Construction and Business Law.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal field.
Paralegal Certificate or Paralegal Certification preferred.
Experience in Construction Law and Business Law is highly desirable.
Strong research and writing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with mechanic liens and small business law is a plus.
