About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Legal Assistant
to join a dynamic commercial litigation team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment, is highly organized, and enjoys working collaboratively in an office setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a commercial litigation practice.
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Manage case files, organize discovery materials, and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, and meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and internal teams.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
Experience:
5–10 years as a Legal Assistant in a commercial litigation setting.
Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and filing procedures.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under stress and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
Benefits Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
