Essential Responsibilities
Assist in performing basic welding tasks under supervision.
Operate tools and equipment safely in a steel manufacturing environment.
Follow instructions and learn fabrication processes.
Prepare materials, clean work areas, and support welding technicians.
Maintain safety standards and proper use of PPE.
Perform basic quality checks on finished work.
Qualifications And Requirements
Basic welding experience or welding coursework preferred.
Must bring own welding helmet and personal protective equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to the Chattanooga, TN worksite.
Ability to follow safety procedures at all times.
Must bring own Welding Helmet and Basic PPE. Welding test to be given, and potential immediate on the spot hire.
