Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our dynamic welding team. As a welder, you will be instrumental in the manufacturing and marketing of auto parts, including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.
Prepare and set up materials before welding, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints or welding symbols to guide welding operations.
Use various welding positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead to complete tasks.
Conduct quality checks to ensure the strength and integrity of welds.
Comply with OSHA regulations and other safety standards related to welding.
Utilize welding machines and tools proficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the welding booth.
Essential Skills
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to work with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
Capable of passing a math test involving simple arithmetic and measurement identification.
Ability to pass MIG/TIG welding tests.
Strong blueprint reading skills.
Possession of personal welding helmet and gloves.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with fabrication and grinding is advantageous.
Familiarity with safety precautions and minimizing distortion or warping techniques.
Work Environment Work in a large, clean, and safe warehouse spanning 256,000 sq ft. Our organized facility prioritizes safety, equipped with a snorkel system to vacuum welding debris. Welders have their own booths, and while all PPE is provided, candidates must bring their own welding helmet and gloves. Shifts are available on both the first and second schedules, with a 10% shift differential for second.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
