We specialize in innovative electrical systems, safety-focused operations, and high-quality project execution. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our apprenticeship team.

Position Summary The 1st Year Electrical Apprentice works under close supervision to support licensed electricians and senior apprentices on commercial electrical projects. This role emphasizes foundational skill development, safe work practices, and understanding core electrical concepts used throughout the commercial construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with jobsite setup, material handling, and staging equipment for senior team members.

Pull wire, install raceways, and assemble basic electrical components under supervision.

Safely use hand tools and power tools common to commercial electrical work.

Maintain clean, safe work environments following MIOSHA and Engineered Electrical Systems safety protocols.

Learn to read basic blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

Complete all required related technical instruction (RTI) and on-the-job (OTJ) hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Michigan jobsites.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varying construction environments.

Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety.

On-the-job learning experience hours: 1000-2000 hours
