A. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Position Title: Engagement Specialist – Dougherty Outpatient (Position Number: 1833)
Work Unit: AACSB Administration
County: Dougherty
Immediate Supervisor's Title: Administrative Operations Manager
B. QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of agency-specific office procedures and methods.
Computer skills and ability to use agency-specific software.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to understand and interpret written materials.
Basic bookkeeping, banking transactions, and report preparation.
Knowledge of basic English and grammar usage.
Proficiency with office machines.
Paraprofessional credential, minimum 2 years of community-based experience, or Certified Peer Specialist / CPS‑eligible.
(Physical) No lifting of more than 20 pounds.
G. SPECIAL NEEDS OF POPULATION SERVED
Provide direct client services for adults (18+ years) with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use disorders.
Emphasize individuals who are persistently and chronically mentally ill or have addiction issues.
H. ASSIGNED DUTIES Key responsibilities for this role include:
Complete all agency and related trainings initially and annually.
Understand and abide by DBHDD contract guidelines and service requirements.
Provide collaborative documentation and keep all credentials and certificates up to date.
Maintain 50% productivity and 100% training compliance.
Run required program reports and submit Engagement spreadsheets to the supervisor on a weekly basis.
Deliver engagement services and documentation, including linkage to services/resources.
Provide group services as needed.
Participate in community and stakeholder collaboration.
Adhere to productivity standards and work collaboratively with co‑workers and other contacts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
NOTE This position reports directly to the Administrative Operations Manager.
