Job Summary

This technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of systems that integrate electrical and mechanical components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with others in providing customer centered service with high quality results from automated and mechanical equipment in the field. Responsibilities

Maintenance : Install and maintain Decco equipment located at customer work sites. This includes electrical, fluid, and mechanical systems as well as PLC/Control Panels. Problem Solving : Read blueprints schematics and diagrams to properly diagnose equipment malfunctions. Troubleshoot, test, disassemble, repair, and reassemble company equipment including PLC/Control Panels, sprayers, pumps, motor, foggers and other equipment. Team Support : Provide support to service technicians with various equipment malfunctions. This includes being onsite at our customer accounts as needed, working alongside our service and commercial teams, and being able to communicate the current functionality and working condition of our equipment and processes to all involved. Training/Development : Attend regular training and promote proper use and care of Decco technical equipment. Train service technicians on new equipment and best practices. Maintain accurate maintenance records.

Collaboration and Cooperation : Provide feedback to DECCO managers and others to keep team informed of field activities of opportunities and challenges. Willingness to follow direction from superiors. Working Environment : Perform job functions at Decco warehouses, offices, laboratories, customer packinghouses, storage facilities, and other locations as assigned. Work in varied weather conditions and industrial settings which may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and potential hazards. Regular use of stairs, ladders, and platforms. Frequently travel in company provided vehicle throughout the workday. May require standing for long periods. Innovation and Improvement : Support research/development and continuous improvements activities of our application equipment, digital platforms, and new technologies. Required Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Associate’s degree in electromechanical technology, electrical engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of experience with the job duties and responsibilities outlined above. Demonstrate high technical aptitude and ability to learn. Can read/understand electrical schematics and control panel designs. Experience installing and troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems. Able to read and work from CAD drawings and electrical diagrams. Professional communication skills. Valid Driver’s License. Strong written and verbal skills, knowledgeable with word processors, spreadsheets, and other software. Preferred Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electromechanical technology, electrical engineering, or related field. Experience working with agriculture or industrial chemicals. Experience working with sensors, transmitters, pumps, motors, and automation controls. PLC programming. Location

California: Central Valley preferred, maybe Ventura County areas. Key Competencies
