Job Overview Jordahl Engineering & Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time, on-site position focuses on the installation, service, and maintenance of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role is perfect for technicians who want to be part of a supportive, experienced team and work on high‑quality, design‑driven mechanical systems.

Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers, and chillers.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently and accurately.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
Maintain detailed service reports and communicate status updates to management.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and EPA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and job site.
Collaborate with other field team members to meet project timelines and service goals.
Qualifications
5 years of HVAC service experience in a commercial or industrial environment preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment manuals.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
