Job Overview Jordahl Engineering & Mechanical is looking for an experienced and self‑motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our high‑performing Field Operations team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep technical knowledge and leadership skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You'll play a key role in delivering reliable service to our clients and mentoring junior techs as needed. Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Document service activities accurately using internal reporting systems.
Maintain communication with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure clear expectations and high customer satisfaction.
Support junior technicians through mentoring and field training.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations.
Manage and track inventory, tools, and service vehicle supplies.
Qualifications
10 years of hands‑on HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
HVAC‑related certifications and management experience preferred.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and service protocols.
Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Comfortable with digital diagnostic tools and service software.
Ability to work independently and solve complex mechanical problems.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
