Position Description Precision, contract machining business is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in the Milling Department. Preferably experienced with HAAS machines.
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC machinery to produce precision components while maintaining quality standards in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment to standard work practices within all quality and performance standards
Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Read and interpret blueprints
Follow production work orders and documents
Neatly and accurately complete all required paperwork
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Qualifications
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability:
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience
HAAS experience a plus
Experience deburring parts
Ability to detect tool wear and make offset changes
Experience performing set‑ups
Schedule and Compensation Standard 1st shift - Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. OT - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm (When needed). Salary based on experience and skill level.
