A Machinist II is responsible for completing the following duties:

Set up and operate manual CNC machines, including Drill Press, Lathes, and Mills, to process raw materials into finished parts that meet production specifications.

Create, edit, and modify G&M code and Mazatrol programs to support progressive machining, troubleshoot machine alarms, and ensure accurate part production.

Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and safe operations in compliance with company safety standards.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.

Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $26-32 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 11:00am Friday

Qualifications

Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” increments, with a strong understanding of inch-to-decimal conversions.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Skilled in using precision measuring tools, including digital and vernier calipers and micrometers.

Knowledge of dimensions and sizing of common structural steel.

Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related field, or equivalent machining experience.
